The dishes came out as they were ready, rather than at once, though our appetizer did come out a few minutes before the first main dish arrived. We ordered a combination of dishes we are familiar with as well as dishes that were completely new to us. We were able to order drinks, appetizers, meals and desserts of our choosing. This aligns with the portion sizes we received with the food we ordered which were all on the larger size. I did ask if it was often ordered as an appetizer for the whole table, but it was explained that it’s made to be eaten by one person, maybe two.

It is a great way to get to try a lot of menu items, Sangam Restaurant as well. Another unique menu item to Sangam is what’s called a Thali. They wanted to start smaller so that a new kitchen staff could master it, and all of the processes, before moving on to a larger menu.

There were 2 chicken thighs and a chicken leg in his dish. It does come with the chicken on the bone, but he said it came right off. The Hyderabad Dum Biryani is what my husband thought would be the closest to what you might find in most Indian restaurants. I would say it’s as good as the best butter paneer I’ve ever had and I would definitely order this dish again and again. I usually order the samosas that are filled with potatoes and peas, but at this time Sangam doesn’t have those. I did not try it myself, though he said it was very good, but saved it to drink after his meal as a dessert due to the sweet flavor.

To see delivery time My husband always eats raita with his biryani, but he also likes mango chutney, which we did not see on the menu and forgot to ask about. I’ve never seen more than one type of biryani offered at other restaurants I’ve been to. There are 3 other types of biryani, one of which lists boneless chicken as an option. The menu does have a lot of familiar Indian foods, but also many that I have not seen before.
